The Zambia Country Focus Seminar was held on the 27th January 2014 at KPMG Johannesburg, Crescent Auditorium, South Africa. The seminar was delivered by KPMG in collaboration with Africa Exchange and in association with the Zambia SA Chamber of Commerce.

The event presented an opportunity for business leaders to share information and engage with one another around investing in Zambia, particularly the fast developing Luapula Province. With exciting prospects and major opportunities in agriculture, tourism, fishing, mining and energy, the Luapula Province is indeed Zambia’s next emerging economic frontier.

The event played host to key guests from senior leadership positions in Zambia, as well as senior representatives from KPMG. The Seminar included discussion around the broad economic outlook of the Luapula Province, pending and anticipated future projects in this area, as well as the cost of doing business in Zambia, government reform, the financial sector and tax incentives.
