KPMG Nigeria holds a Tax Breakfast Meeting

KPMG in Nigeria is pleased to invite you to the quarterly Tax Breakfast Meeting holding on 18 November, 2016.  Mr. Babatunde Fowler, the Executive Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), will be the keynote speaker. He will be speaking on the topic: ‘Matters arising from interest/penalty waiver and other topical tax Issues’.  His presentation will cover the following issues:

  • The recent FIRS waiver of penalty and interest program
  • Utilisation of WHT credit certificates
  • Conduct of tax audits and investigations
  • Tax refund processes and procedures
  • Non-resident companies’ tax returns
  • Transfer pricing and advance pricing agreements and
  • Other relevant issues that the FIRS would like to clarify for the benefit of tax payers
