CNBC Africa, in partnership with KPMG, launches Invest Africa
KPMG is committed to Africa – and to continuing to work with our clients in realising the many business opportunities that the continent presents. Realisation of the many significant investment opportunities across Africa and what is required to achieve these continues to spread rapidly; as was emphasised again in various discussions at the recent World Economic Forum on Africa in Addis Ababa.
KPMG already plays a significant role in advocating the business opportunities in Africa today; including through the KPMG Africa Conversation series, where our deep sector knowledge and our thought leadership is freely shared. KPMG is a persistent promoter of investment in Africa.
This role is demonstrated most directly through the ongoing engagement we enjoy with clients, governments and the communities we live and work in; throughout Africa and of course with our own people.
Investing in Africa
This commitment to Africa easily convinced KPMG to take advantage of another opportunity to proactively contribute to the relevant conversations. In agreement with CNBC Africa; KPMG has taken up sponsorship of a new weekly programme exclusively dedicated to investing in Africa.
Invest Africa will be broadcast in prime time and will be available online afterwards. The programme will feature prominent business leaders and leaders from other sectors sharing their insights into the possibilities of investing in Africa.
The series promises to be engrossing and memorable viewing. We hope it will just be the start of many informed conversations about doing business in Africa.
The launch episode features Yunus Suleman (Chairman of KPMG Africa and Chairman of KPMG in South Africa) in a discussion centred around the outcomes of the World Economic Forum on Africa.
